Four competence levels turn the guideline into practical sessions. Exercises are instrument sessions, not slide-only learning.
NEW TO AI?
Start with the AI Basics primer — a short, prerequisite literacy course covering AI/ML/DL fundamentals, prompting and AI-assisted development. It is not one of the four levels below.
Complete the modules with the linked instruments and retain the exercise result in the Playbook.

WHY THIS INSTRUMENT EXISTS
Literacy about AI in the abstract does not transfer into competence at running a specific controlled use case — the skills needed to write a use-case charter, design an evaluation, or assess a deployed process are distinct and have to be taught as such.
Four levels — Foundation, Practitioner, Implementer/Validator, Assessor — matched to the roles actually involved in the control process, with exercises built on real instruments rather than slides, is what makes a course produce someone who can do the next real task on Monday.
